Friend of God Recovery Center is a compassionate haven rooted in the ministry of Bethel Church in Amory, MS. Our story begins with Bethel Church noticing that although people were coming to connect with Christ and the church through outreach ministry, they were still struggling to break free from the challenges of drugs and addiction.

This realization led to the crucial question:

How can we, as followers of Christ, create a refuge for people dealing with addiction?

 

What began as an outreach ministry has since transformed into a residential recovery center and aftercare program developed to minister to the whole person- helping heal spirits, minds, bodies, and emotions, and helping women struggling with addiction, and their families, to find new life and hope in Christ.

At Friend of God, we strive to see the change of not only individual lives but entire generations. Together, we hope to spread the love of Jesus, see redemption in lives, and inspire stories of restoration.
